Pittsburgh's Wiz Khalifa has been named a top-five finalist for [article id="1644010"]MTV's "Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010,"[/article] and his following of hard-core fans is all about seeing the rapper get crowned as the most promising new hip-hop artist in the game.

"Wiz is the future!" caesarDAgreat wrote on MTV.com, adding that in light of the rapper's breakout success he wants the upstart MC to take home the title. "It is his time. Hope he wins."

Jordan showed their support for the MC and shouted Wiz out for his instrumentals. "Real sh--! Keep them blazn beats comin!" the fan wrote.

Similar to the fans of fellow top-five [article id="1643904"]"Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2010" finalist Nicki Minaj[/article], who has dubbed her followers "Barbz," Wiz acolytes, such as MTV commenter William, rep the Taylor Gang. "Taylor Gang or Die!" the fan wrote, adding, "TEAM KHALIFA!!!!!!!"

Poloman also waved the Taylor Gang flag, writing, "Wiz is the best!"

The Kush & OJ rapper got crazy Facebook love as well about the news. On the artist's Facebook page, at press time, more than 2,500 people "liked" the link announcing Khalifa as a top-five "Hottest Breakthrough MC" finalist, and hundreds of fans commented.

Several people typed the Khalifa mantra "Taylor Gang or Die," while some, like Julian Gonzalez, wrote messages directly to the star. "Hellll f---ing yesssss. I voted for you," the fan typed.

Jordan Lamarr wrote, "Aye Wiz Khalifa is comin up!!! Bout time he got recognized for his raps. He bout to go all tha way to tha top! TGOD!!!"

The viral Taylor Gang made a lot of noise over Wiz making it to the top five, and the MC himself seemed pleased about the news, re-tweeting the link to the MTV News article announcing his spot in the top five.

MTV News will be rolling out the top-five candidates for "Hottest Breakthrough MCs of 2010" all week -- with the winner being revealed on MTV2's "Sucker Free Summit" on Sunday at noon!
