Conan O'Brien, Eric Stonestreet React To Emmy Nominations

'Glee' stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer also gush over 2010 nods.

With the news of [article id="1643190"]Emmy nominations[/article] still buzzing around the water cooler on Thursday (July 8), the nominees are already reacting to the good news.

Conan O'Brien is up for a number of awards, including Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series for his now-defunct "Tonight Show." "Congrats to my staff on 4 Emmy nominations," he tweeted. "This bodes well for the future of 'The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.' "

Lea Michele is up for a Lead Actress award for her work on "Glee," and in a statement to MTV News she said, "I am beyond honored and thrilled to be nominated. The other women in this category are extraordinary actresses that I respect and admire. To be a part of 'Glee' is a dream come true and the fact that the Academy acknowledged us in this way makes that dream even more surreal."

Fellow "Glee" star Chris Colfer is up for a Supporting Actor prize. "Any more surprises today might kill me because my adrenaline is so high," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I had been mentioned a lot about being a contender by the newspapers, but I thought maybe they were jinxing it! I was not expecting it at all. This year has made my head blow up!"

"Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet kept it simple when reacting to his Best Supporting Actor nomination, tweeting, "humbled, honored, excited, thankful, happy. very happy."

"The Office" star Mindy Kaling is nominated for writing an episode of the hit NBC series. In a statement to The Associated Press, she said, "I've been planning going to the Emmys since I was 6 years old. So for me, getting the dress and all that kind of stuff, I was built for that. The Emmy dress finding machine starts now. I've been fueling it up for, you know, 30 years."

"Lost" managed to wrangle several nominations for its final season, and Supporting Actor nominee Michael Emerson said in a statement, "I'm delighted and thrilled to be able to share the excitement with my castmates. I'm also ecstatic that my wife Carrie's [Preston] show, 'True Blood,' received a nomination -- we're both looking forward to the party in August."
