In late April, rumors began surfacing online that "Twilight Saga" star Kristen Stewart was in the running for the role originated by Angelina Jolie in "Wanted 2." The story was that Stewart is director Timur Bekmambetov's top choice to replace Jolie in the sequel, pitting her against the returning James McAvoy as reluctant assassin Wesley Gibson. If hired, Stewart would play "a young, ass-kicking assassin in the Fraternity."
While much has been hush-hush about the speculation since it was initially reported, the star is now speaking up about the casting talk, saying that nothing is set in stone yet.
"Right now, I have two projects lined up," Stewart told Moviehole.net. "I'm doing 'On the Road' this summer and then I'm doing 'Breaking Dawn.' So other than that I have nothing nailed down."
With it still unknown whether "Breaking Dawn" will be two movies or one, it seems that Stewart's schedule is definitely filled up for the time being. Regarding her involvement in the upcoming film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's [article id="1639950"]"On the Road,"[/article] she said last month, "I am very much attached to a movie that has been trying to get made forever. Not that this is going to help it, but maybe I can just brag a little bit. I am super-excited about it, too. I am about to play Marylou in 'On the Road.' So that's a big deal."
In the same interview, fellow "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner dished that he has yet to even think about filming [article id="1631453"]"Stretch Armstrong."[/article] "It's not happening for a while though, about a year from now," he said. "I'm doing a movie called [article id="1631453"]'Abduction,'[/article] which starts in about a month. Then 'Breaking Dawn.' And hopefully 'Stretch' after that."
