Since the news broke that Lady Gaga would be getting the "Glee" remix treatment later this season, Gleeks have been wondering which song or songs Rachel, Finn and company would be belting at William McKinley High. Now EW.com reports that "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face" are the featured covers.
"Poker Face" will be sung by Lea Michele, who plays overachieving choir member Rachel on the show, which returns from winter hiatus on April 13. Michele's version of the song will be more low-key than the original. "Lea does a very stripped-down version of 'Poker Face,' " show creator Ryan Murphy told the site.
"Bad Romance," meanwhile, will be a theatrical number for the cast. In a full tribute to Gaga, the New Directions kids will also don some of her most memorable looks. "I do know that we're all different Lady Gagas, and at one point I am the Kermit the Frog Lady Gaga," Michele revealed. "I saw a picture of the Kermit the Frog Lady Gaga with a Post-It on it that said 'Lea.' I was like, oh, great. Everyone else has incredible Lady Gaga outfits, and I have that one."
Castmate Chris Colfer (Kurt) added, "The outfits are gonna be incredible. All the costumes are outrageous and legit. I actually went to the tailor this morning who makes the real Gaga outfits. They're going all out."
