Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Charmed" actress Shannen Doherty is hours away from revealing her dancing skills to the American public on Tuesday night's (March 22) [article id="1634429"]10th-season premiere of "Dancing With the Stars,"[/article] but Doherty is going to have to work on her cold feet before strapping on those dancing shoes.

On Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM morning radio show, Doherty said she is "nervous and freaking out" about her impending dancing debut. The actress said her nervousness has led to a breakout of hives and stomach pains. "I'm like, 'I can't, I can't, I can't,' " she told Seacrest of her anxieties.

But Doherty explained that she has some inspiration to look toward when it comes to overcoming [article id="1633142"]her "Dancing" fears[/article]: Her father, who suffered a stroke last Christmas, is serving as an example of courage for the 38 year-old actress. "It's kind of a negotiating tool," she said of her father's influence. "He's going to go in there and work really hard on regaining his speech and his mobility. And I'm going to get over my fear of a live audience."

Her other issue on the show is figuring out why she's gaining weight while other contestants are shedding pounds. "Everyone says it's muscle. I don't see it," she laughed. "I eat so much now, it's insane."

The actress had plenty of praise for her celebrity competitors: "Nicole [Scherzinger] is amazing. Not only is she really, really nice, but she's a dancer. Evan [Lysacek], being an ice skater, I think he's going to do fantastic. And I think Pam [Anderson] is just going to be sexy, sexy, sexy, and so much fun to watch."
