Justin Bieber Felt Like 'We Are The World' Remake Was 'So Big'

Justin Bieber hopes to work with Lionel Richie again after Monday's recording session.

On Monday night, [artist id="3187077"]Justin Bieber[/artist] was one of the many, many celebrities who participated in the recording of the [article id="1631021"]"We Are the World"[/article] remake to benefit Haiti. The pop rookie said he knew it was a pretty big deal when he walked in the room and saw that he was surrounded by an incredible mixture of legendary acts and new superstars.

"That was amazing; 'We Are the World' was incredible," Bieber told MTV News on the set of his music video for [article id="1629953"]"Baby," featuring Ludacris[/article], on Tuesday. "I got to work with Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie and all the greats."

He added that it felt like [article id="1631061"]everybody who is anybody showed up[/article] to lend their support to the song. "Kanye was there, Lil Wayne ... everybody ... Barbra Streisand," he said. "It was really incredible and I had a great time. It was crazy. Barbra Streisand was on this side of me, and Celine Dion was on this side of me, and I felt like, 'This is so big.' "

Although the song was already a decade old when 15-year-old Bieber was born, he was familiar with the song before lending his vocals to the updated charity single. "I heard the song," Bieber said. "But it's legendary, so it's great we're doing it for Haiti and the whole thing."

Now that he's gotten the chance to meet so many of the music industry's biggest names, is there someone he'd like to record with? "I would love to collaborate with Lionel Richie, that's a big one. He vocally produced my stuff on 'We Are the World,' so that was great as well," he said, before sneaking in another nod to his crush: "As you know, I would love to [article id="1630853"]collaborate with Beyoncé[/article]."
