Selena Gomez, LL Cool J Tweet For Haiti Earthquake Relief

'As much as we can do to rally support, we should,' 'Project Runway' star Tim Gunn tells MTV News.

With celebrities like [article id="1629590"]Adam Lambert and Diddy[/article] already using Twitter to encourage fans to [article id="1629607"]help out after Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti[/article], more celebrities are taking to the social-networking site to get the word out.

"UNICEF has just announced an emergency alert for the people of Haiti who were hit by a 7.0 earthquake and a tsunami," Selena Gomez, who works with the organization, tweeted.

Meanwhile, "NCIS: Los Angeles" star LL Cool J tweeted, "Haiti. Stay strong." Nicole Richie and Joel Madden both tweeted, "To donate to the ongoing emergency relief efforts in Haiti & Caribbean region, please visit: www.unicefusa.org/haitiquake."

MC Hammer tweeted: "We Pray For Life to the Injured, Strength for the tired and hungry, Heaven for those who passed and Peace to fall upon Haiti. #Amen."

"Our hearts & prayers go out to the people in Haiti!" Omar Epps wrote. "To help check out: artistsforpeaceandjustice.com."

Ryan Seacrest posted pictures from the country, tweeting, "If u haven't see this yet, easy to help. Text 'HAITI' to 90999 to donate $10 to @Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti."

"Project Runway" star Tim Gunn spoke to MTV News about the earthquake, saying he expects the fashion community will send clothes to Haiti. "It basically just happened, but there is a lot of talk about sending clothes to Haiti for survivor relief and to help out," Gunn said. "People have lost so much: lives, for one, and also belongings and homes. And, yes, as much as we can do to rally support, we should."
