Taylor Swift Announces New Leg Of 'Fearless' Tour

'I'm thrilled to play in new cities and see even more of my fans on the 2010 'Fearless' tour!' says the multi-platinum singer.

Just as [artist id="2389485"]Taylor Swift[/artist] was set to wrap up her [article id="1606856"]Fearless tour[/article] on October 11 in Minneapolis, comes word that the singer will hit the road once again for a second leg of the tour starting in February 2010. The new leg will kick off in Australia before coming stateside for a slew of dates, her rep confirmed to MTV News.

Swift will hit 29 cities in the U.S. and Canada after she wraps up five shows in Australia, which will begin on February 4 in Brisbane. Her stateside tour begins in Tampa, Florida, on March 4. Once again Swift will be hitting the road with opening acts Kellie Pickler and Gloriana.

"I'm so excited to take the Fearless tour back out on the road again in 2010!" Swift said in a statement. "This year's tour has been so much fun and even more unforgettable than I ever imagined. The fans have been so amazing, and I'm thrilled to play in new cities and see even more of my fans on the 2010 Fearless tour!"

Shows on the first leg of the Fearless tour -- named after her album released last November, which has gone platinum nearly four times -- sold out in minutes, and Swift hopes that she'll do the same this time around. She said her fans' response to her tour has been like she "won the lottery of dreams coming true," according to The Associated Press.

"I always expected to have to do a lot of stressing out about selling tickets. And then I went on my first headlining tour, and everything just sold out," she said. "I've never expected that kind of success. I've never just felt entitled to my shows selling out or things like this happening to me, but the fact that they've happened to me has been wonderful."

Although we're sure she's welcoming a bit of a break from months of touring, she does say that seeing this leg of the tour wrap up this week is a bit sad. "It's going to be so sad knowing that we're not going to see each other for a while, everybody on the tour from the lighting to the crew, the dancers and the band, and everybody that have just become even more of my family in the last couple of months," she said.
