[movieperson id="196345"]Jude Law[/movieperson] just added a fourth child to his brood. Model/actress Samantha Burke, with whom the actor had a brief affair, gave birth to a baby girl, Sophia, on Tuesday night.

In a statement, a rep for Burke announced the birth of 5 lb., 12 oz. Sophia. "Samantha Burke is overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl, Sophia," Burke's rep told People. "The baby and mom are doing wonderful."

The pair reportedly met while Law, 36, was in New York City filming [article id="1617599"]"Sherlock Holmes."[/article] The 24-year-old model and Law reportedly only dated for a short time, and about two months ago he acknowledged that the baby was his. Law, who is currently starring in "Hamlet" on Broadway, has two sons and a daughter with his ex-wife, actress Sadie Frost.

In July, a rep for Law released a statement confirming rumors that Burke was pregnant with his baby. "Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," the actor's rep said at the time.

"Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life," the statement continued. "This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."
