[artist id="2389485"]Taylor Swift[/artist] will soon be playing in a living room near you. Swift will be making her video game debut this November in "Band Hero." The singer will be animated in the latest video game from Activision, the makers of "Guitar Hero."

If you've ever wondered what it's like to be Swift and play Fearless hits like "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me," as well as the song "Picture to Burn" from her debut album, this is your chance to find out. In the game, you can either be Swift or play alongside Swift and the game's other artists, like No Doubt, Lily Allen, the All-American Rejects and Jackson 5.

"Anything that encourages people to pick up an instrument and play, I'm fully behind," she said in a statement. "And I'm really excited about 'Band Hero,' because not only are fans getting to play my songs, but I'm actually in the game."

Aside from rocking out in the video game, the country superstar is hard at work on [article id="1616819"]her next album[/article] and will be [article id="1616201"]performing at the Video Music Awards[/article] on September 13.

"There are so many awesome things that go into being in 'Band Hero,' like getting to customize my band to look like my touring band, and it's so cool for people to feel like they are experiencing one of my concerts," Swift said. "This is one of the closest things out there to going to see me perform!"
