It's May -- you know what that means. It's getting warm, the flowers are blooming and the time-honored tradition of prom is back again. So get your corsages, turn up the cheesy music and fuel the limos, because this week we're catching up with your favorite stars and helping them relive their prom memories.

[artist id="1624630"]Jesse McCartney[/artist] makes the kind of music that gets played at proms: love ballads and danceable pop tracks. Back in the day, when McCartney was busy working on shows like "Summerland" alongside Zac Efron, the singer had to miss out on his own prom to attend his then-girlfriend's shindig.

"I actually didn't go to my prom," he told MTV News. "I went [with] my girlfriend at the time. I went to her prom. They were on the same night, so she came to my graduation, and I went to her prom."

He said the two dances were on different coasts, and "it was great." He even went for the night's traditional transportation: the limo. "[It was] the classic prom," he said. "The big stretch limo. Stupid size limo. Ridiculous looking. And good friends. It was a memorable prom, memorable dance."

McCartney has some advice to help make this year's proms just as memorable as his. "Lots of chocolate milk," he advised. "Good, clean fun, kids!"
