Frankie Delgado Says He And Rihanna Are 'Just Friends'

'It's Hollywood, people talk a lot,' 'Bromance'/ 'The Hills' star says of romance rumors.

Rihanna and Chris Brown are reported to be taking some time off after their [article id="1606211"]reported reunion[/article], and many rumors have surfaced about who Rihanna is dating these days. Some of those rumors have linked her with "Bromance" and "The Hills" star [url id="http://www.mtv.com/ontv/dyn/bromance/cast_member/cast_member.jhtml?personalityId=10589"]Frankie Delgado[/url], but Deglado told People.com Saturday that he and the singer are not an item.

At the grand opening of Wet Republic, the pool party at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Delgado reportedly told the site that the two are "just friends."

Delgado said he thinks the chatter got started because "she's been out, hanging out, I guess. It's Hollywood, people talk a lot."

Asked how Rihanna is doing, Delgado said only, "She's good."

[artist id="1940303"]Rihanna[/artist] was in the news last week after getting [article id="1607825"]a new tattoo[/article] -- of a gun. [article id="1607888"]Tattoo artist BangBang[/article] told MTV News of the ink, "She flew me out for the purposes of tattooing one of her friends. I've tattooed her a few times, and she gave me a call and asked if I could come out to her house. I wound up tatting her as well. We've been playing with it for about a year, and I was at her house, and I suggested she finally get the gun."

After [article id="1604672"]Brown and Rihanna's alleged altercation[/article] on February 8 before the Grammy Awards, the couple [article id="1606715"]reportedly reunited[/article] and spent a few days at Diddy's Miami home. Brown was photographed smiling widely while [article id="1606122"]riding a jet-ski[/article] during that visit, which led some to wonder whether he understood the gravity of the incident.

A few days later, Diddy explained why he loaned the couple his house. "It was a dark time for them, and I was there as more of a support," [article id="1606715"]he said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."[/article] "I'm not immersed in [the proceedings]. I'm not going to pass judgment on it. I'm going to be there as a friend."

Brown, 19, has been charged with two felony counts, assault and making criminal threats, in the case and is due back in court on April 6 for his arraignment, at which time he could enter a plea.
