Joe Jonas And Taylor Swift To Reunite For 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve'

Country singer and Jonas Brothers added to roster of Times Square performers for Ryan Seacrest-hosted show.

When 2008 calls it quits, [artist id="2088128"]Joe Jonas[/artist] and [artist id="2389485"]Taylor Swift[/artist], who themselves famously called it quits in 2008, will be on hand to ring in 2009 together. ABC announced Monday the two former lovebirds are set to perform on ABC's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" on December 31, UsMagazine.com reported.

The Jonas Brothers and Swift will perform live in Times Square for the show, hosted by Ryan Seacrest. "American Idol" alum [artist id="2385935"]Kellie Pickler[/artist] will act as co-host and correspondent in New York, while in Hollywood, [artist id="1234831"]Fergie[/artist] will host performances by [artist id="1796764"]Natasha Bedingfield[/artist], [artist id="1235716"]Fall Out Boy[/artist], [artist id="1624630"]Jesse McCartney[/artist], [artist id="2002414"]Ne-Yo[/artist], the [artist id="1841713"]Pussycat Dolls[/artist], [artist id="3100551"]Solange Knowles[/artist] and [artist id="1356440"]Robin Thicke[/artist].

No doubt Seacrest is hoping that Swift will have gotten everything off her chest about allegedly being [article id="1599032"]dumped over the phone[/article] by the end of the year. And while Joe Jonas has been relatively mum about his ex's many media appearances denouncing alleged treatment of her -- not to mention how much time his reported new girlfriend, Camilla Belle, has apparently been spending with "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson -- the group has publicly responded to a different rumor. Last week, the [article id="1600857"]Jonas Brothers denied a report that eldest brother Kevin[/article] had plans to pursue a solo career of "mature music." In a MySpace post, the guys wrote, "There is a rumor that one of us is leaving [the] group. Not true. We love what we are doing and hope to do it together for a long time."

In the post, the guys also talked a bit about their Best New Artist Grammy nomination and how they are hard at work on their TV series. "Our heads are still spinning since the announcement," they wrote. "We are fans of all the other artists that are nominated in our category. It really is an honor. The crew from our TV series ['J.O.N.A.S.'] even threw us a party the following day congratulating us on the nomination."
