Spencer Pratt Denies Claims That He Drugged Heidi Montag To Get Her To Marry Him

'I am sure she is just hurt and reacting crazy because she wasn't there,' 'Hills' star says of comments from Heidi's mom.

Spencer Pratt is denying [article id="1600611"]claims by Heidi Montag's mother[/article], Darlene Egelhoff, that [article id="1600101"]Heidi married him[/article] because he drugged her while on vacation in Mexico last month.

"I am sure she is just hurt and reacting crazy because she wasn't there," Pratt said on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Thursday (December 4).

In the latest issue of Us Weekly, Egelhoff guessed that the marriage wouldn't last more than six months. "He's manipulative and seems to have power over Heidi," she told the magazine. "I would like to see a blood test from Mexico. It wouldn't surprise me if he had her drugged."

As for Egelhoff's claim that the marriage wouldn't last very long, Pratt made this vow to Seacrest: "I can't wait to prove her wrong and be married for the rest of our lives."

In the Us Weekly article, Egelhoff said that her daughter missed Thanksgiving to honeymoon with Spencer in Mexico, and Pratt said it's likely she won't be heading to Colorado for Christmas either. "After that statement [to Us Weekly], the Pratts, as in Heidi and Spencer Pratt, will have their own Christmas tree out here," he told Seacrest.

"Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of her life," Egelhoff told Us. "I've been honest with Heidi, and it's caused our relationship to decline. I'm more devastated about that than the marriage, because I'm confident the marriage won't work out.

"God says, 'Love your enemies,' but I never expected it to be my son-in-law," Egelhoff continued. "I think it's the biggest mistake Heidi's ever made."
