Miley Cyrus Thanks Fans At California Concert: 'We're All Changing -- Thank You For Helping Me As I Grow Through That'

Singer doesn't directly address controversial photos at show.

Miley Cyrus thanked fans for their support at her performance on Saturday at KIIS-FM's Wango Tango show in Irvine, California.

"We're all changing," the 15-year-old singer told the crowd, according to People.com. "I thank you for helping me as I grow through that."

During her 30-minute set, Cyrus didn't directly address the racy photos that appeared in Vanity Fair and on the Internet, the site reported, and managed to avoid speaking with reporters by not walking the event's red carpet. But, as she did last weekend at her [article id="1586832"]Disney Games appearance[/article] in Orlando, Florida, she thanked fans for supporting her "through everything that's been going on in life."

Late last month, the singer issued a [article id="1586342"]statement[/article] apologizing both for controversial photos she'd taken privately, depicting her in her bra and panties, and for those she'd taken for the Vanity Fair spread. Cyrus, who expressed embarrassment over the pictures, appeared to be topless in the images, which were shot by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

In the statement, Cyrus said, "The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen, and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone. Most of all, I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support team. My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey."

In the weeks since the photos began circulating, [article id="1586761"]Justin Timberlake[/article], [article id="1586671"]Madonna[/article], [article id="1586935"]Paramore's Hayley Williams[/article], Heidi Montag, Lauren Conrad, Hilary Duff, [article id="1586521"]Nick Cannon[/article], [article id="1586084"]Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers[/article] and lots of [article id="1586583"]fans and parents[/article] have spoken about the controversy.
