But give her credit: Rather than pull a diva routine, Kebbel stood at the back of the line in her high heels and flesh-colored dress. Her male companion looked nervous after emerging from the men's room and, sure enough, Arielle's decision to wait in line made her miss re-admittance. As they walked away to find another target, we couldn't help but be reminded that this really is the hottest ticket in town. ...

Three 6 Mafia saying "What's up?" to Josh Duhamel, then greeting MTV News' Sway and his daughter, Kiyomi. ... "Shrek" stars Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers give a quick kiss hello and spoke with SuChin before the show (during the ceremony, Diaz presented with Myers with the MTV Generation Award). ... Former "Saturday Night Live" comic Horatio Sanz stopping to snap pictures of Kevin Smith and Victoria Beckham on the red carpet. ... Speaking of whom, Kevin Smith was wearing the most interesting outfit: a trenchcoat with shorts and Vans. He did interviews holding a lit cigarette, taking puffs in between. ... Samuel L. An unexpected "Jackie Brown" reunion broke out backstage at the MTV Movie Awards, when Chris Tucker ran into his old buddy Samuel L. Jackson. "Gimme a holler tomorrow," Tucker said to Jackson after they posed for some pictures and caught up. The randomness went to another level when "Borat" funnyman Ken Davitian popped up behind them both, telling Tucker: "I tried so hard to get into your last film!" Laughing, Tucker responded, "I wish you had, man!" ...
"This is Brett Ratner's brother," beamed Eva Mendes, introducing her friends to the kid kin of the "Rush Hour 3" director. Moments later, the "Ghost Rider" star posed with the excited little kid and his twice-as-excited little girlfriend. The duo were a huge hit backstage, getting their photos taken with Dane Cook, John Travolta, Robin Williams and Shia LaBeouf -- all of whom couldn't resist when the insistent kids ran up to them. As a fatigued babysitter tried to keep up, foulmouthed funnyman Cook did his best to keep it G-rated. "Oh look at you," he smiled. "You're adorable. Nice to meet you." Justin Long partied backstage in the green room toward the tail end of the event, but admitted Paris made him a little uncomfortable. "I turned 29 yesterday, but I have yet to go through puberty," he was overheard saying. "This is always weird, and completely unfamiliar to me." ...
Paris, however, felt right at home posing for the rabid paparazzi alongside her private car after the awards. "I could do this all day," she grinned, striking her famous hip-throwing picture pose. The flashes kept popping as she jetted off. ...
The best celebrity-sighting spot of the entire night may have been the limo line out back of the Gibson Amphitheatre. Eva Mendes and John Krasinski stood by alongside Amanda Bynes, while civilians (a.k.a. VIPs and publicists) tried to find their rides home. As a wrangler barked out celebrity names through a bullhorn, Justin Long screamed back, "Gerard Butler? Yeah, that's me!"; Kevin Smith kept smoking cigarettes; and in the middle of it all, a candid moment between Arielle Kebbel and Jon Voight turned into the bizarre photo opportunity of John Travolta, Voight and Tyrese together. Krasinski walked past Long and teased, "Hey, it's that Mac guy!" while Tobin Bell discovered a horrific scene of his own: "I'm seeing a huge line of cars," he reported sullenly into his cell phone. When all was said and done, the best idea belonged to people like Voight and Three 6 Mafia, who took golf-cart rides to vehicles they had cleverly stashed in the adjoining Universal Studios parking lots. ...
Indeed, the coolest exit may have belonged to Josh Duhamel, who headed off into the sunset in a golf cart, riding shotgun with girlfriend Fergie on his lap.
