Eboman: Do you remember the gig in Israel? In

Dance & Levi's?

DaftPunk: Yes, I remember.

Coffi: When are you touring the UK?

DaftPunk: In late October, early November.

Dafunkster: I notice you play in Leeds a lot.

DaftPunk: We played a few times. We will play

only once in November.

Eboman: Thomas, what's is your favorite

synth?

DaftPunk: Roland Juno 106. Because it can be

used in a lot of different ways and it is inexpensive.

Coffi: Why did you have a big talking dog in

your video?

DaftPunk: It was Spike Jones's idea.

Eboman: Well, you don't use a Juno in the

live acts. What are those 2 Rolands you use? Hmm, looks like

sampler drum machines?

DaftPunk: We use a Juno in the live set and

we use a few Roland Sampler S760 TR909.

Dafunkster: In your remix of "Life Is

Sweet" (which I love and play at every party I go to), what

sample did you actually get from "Life is Sweet?" I

couldn't tell. It just seemed like its own song.

DaftPunk: There's a small sample of a voice

saying "Jack It!"

DaftPunk: Gei Manuel is on now.

Coffi: Daft Punk,

DaftPunk: We let the director do what he

wants. We are generally not into videos, we don't want to be part

of the star system We don't need to be in the videos.

Dafunkster: Do you guys use any software?

Cake Walk?

DaftPunk: I don't know. Thomas knows more of

that

Luis: What bands do you like?

DaftPunk: Many bands. Maybe too much. I like

everything. Whatever. We like House R&B and Hip Hop.

Luis: From which region of France are you

from?

DaftPunk: We are from Paris.

Eboman: Is it true that you got your name at

a party when some dude came 2 you and said you sound like Daft-Punk?

DaftPunk: No, we got it in from a English

magazine that reviewed our earlier band.

Gog665: What is your stage show like?

DaftPunk: A few light, some sound. It's a

gig. Come and see.

Luis: Where you will be touring, and will you

pass in Portugal?

DaftPunk: It is not planned. Hopefully.

Portugal is very nice.

Gog665: I'm going tonight. Will you play with

the other bands or alone?

DaftPunk: We are plying with 8 bands. Not at

the same time.

Gog665: Do you know if the Prodigy will show

up? Also, how long will you play?

DaftPunk: We don't know the Prodigy. They are

not playing. We will play for one hour.

dulce: Are you going to be in Florida soon?

DaftPunk: No, I don't think we will be in

Florida soon.

Dafunkster: Gei, what does your remix of

"Life is Sweet" have to do with the original song? I

couldn't figure it out. It's completely different. But awesome!

DaftPunk: Nothing to do with the original

song.

DaftPunk: One more question.

boobs, and become female?

DaftPunk: I don't like big boobs.
