Twista To Reunite With Kanye And Jamie Foxx On Kamikaze Follow-Up

Trio behind last year's 'Slow Jamz' will also collaborate on Foxx's next LP.

BEVERLY HILLS, California -- The super-trio behind last year's "Slow Jamz" smash is reuniting.

Twista said recently that he and fellow Chicagoan Kanye West are once again collaborating with Jamie Foxx for Twista's next album, as well as for Foxx's.

The Day After, Twista's follow-up to Kamikaze, will also feature the Neptunes, Scott Storch, Swizz Beatz and David Banner, whom Twista repaid by contributing to his summer release (see [article id="1501362"]"Blessed By Lil Scrappy, Produced By Lil Jon, David Banner Gets Certified"[/article]).

Twista has yet to decide on the first single, but the top contenders are "Girl Tonight," which he recorded with the Neptunes, and the Storch production "All About the Money."

"I also got it crackin' with Tight Mike, that's a new guy," Twista said. "Everybody gonna trip when they hear that. He gave me some of that screw music from Houston."

The Day After is due in September. In the meantime, Twista is hoping to finally release the second album from the Speedknot Mobstaz, his group with Liffy Stokes and Mayze.

"That's where we keep it strictly hard," Twista said of the album, called Mobstability II: Nation Business (see [article id="1495886"]"Twista And His Speedknot Mobstaz Bring 'Pimping Vibe' To New LP"[/article]). "I think a whole lot of people slept on us last time, so we gonna give you a whole lot of cuts again. When you hear the Mobstaz, you really hear where the hard stuff should have been [taken] after all this pop. You gotta be real and passionate and thug."
