Nelly Slips Into 'Nelly Knuckles' Role, Christina To Play Starlet In New Clip

Rapper releasing two new singles: 'Tilt Ya Head Back' and 'Na-Nana-Na.'

With his albums Sweat and Suit pulling double duty near the top of the albums chart, Nelly is ready to offer up another double dose for fans in the form of two new singles, the Christina Aguilera-featured "Tilt Ya Head Back" and "Na-Nana-Na." Both songs come from the Sweat set.

Nelly and Aguilera, who performed the single at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, recently shot a video for "Tilt Ya Head Back." Directed by Little X, the clip is similar to their 1920s-themed VMA performance (see [article id="1490637"]Outkast, Jay-Z Win Big At VMAs; Usher, No Doubt Land Multiple Moonmen"[/article]). In the clip Nelly plays Nelly Knuckles, a smooth Hollywood gangster, who can't help falling for a movie starlet (Aguilera) amidst the chaos of both of their lives.

As for "Na-Nana-Na," which features producer Jazze Pha and newcomer Jasper Cameron, the video will be shot next week -- with Nelly directing, a first for the rapper. A spokesperson described the concept behind the clip as " 'Country Grammar' Part 2 ... return to the 'hood."

In addition to his two new videos, there is talk of a Nelly tour in early 2005. Details have yet to be finalized.
