Beastie Boys Taking Talib Kweli On Tour In September

Itinerary still coming together, but trek will kick off near Denver.

The Beastie Boys are leaving the five boroughs of New York to come to a city near you.

Ad-Rock, MCA and Mike D have scheduled a U.S. tour for the fall in support of their latest record, To the 5 Boroughs. The Stateside trek will be the group's first since a 1998 tour in support of Hello Nasty.

While most dates and venues are still being confirmed, the tour is scheduled to kick off September 9 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver and run until mid-November, according to the band's spokesperson.

Rapper Talib Kweli, who will release The Beautiful Struggle in September, will open up at least the first leg of the tour.

  • 9/11 - San Diego, CA @ Cox Arena
  • 9/14 - Long Beach, CA @ Long Beach Arena
  • 9/16 - San Francisco, CA @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
  • 9/19 - Seattle, WA @ KeyArena
  • 9/20 - Vancouver, BC @ PNE/Pacific Coliseum
  • 10/16 - New Orleans, LA @ Voodoo Music Festival
