Lollapalooza is roaring back from a five-year layoff in a big way. The
pioneering alternative rock festival has announced a slate of 33 U.S. dates
beginning with a July 3 kickoff at the Ionia County Fairgrounds in Grand
Rapids, Michigan, according to a spokesperson for the tour.
The festival, featuring founders Jane's Addiction along with Audioslave, the
Donnas, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus and Jurassic 5 (see [article id="1469898"]"Lollapalooza Back To Showcase Musical Revolution, Perry Farrell Says"[/article]), is currently scheduled to wind its way across the country until an August 30 date at Vernon Downs Raceway in Vernon, New York.
A roster of second-stage acts is expected to be announced soon.
