Lil' Mo Nabs A Fellow Lil' And Fabolous For The Girl Next Door

Singer pens most of the tracks for her second album.

Lil' Mo is getting a lil' help on her second album.

The Girl Next Door, the follow-up to the singer's 2001 debut album, Based on a True Story, features collaborations with both Lil' Kim and (not as lil') Fabolous.

Lil' Mo and Fab, who last teamed up for Mo's "Superwoman, Pt. 2" single, have recorded the new album's first single, "4Ever," which hit the airwaves this week. The duet with the other Lil' is titled "10 Commandments," according to Mo's Elektra Records spokesperson.

Mo, who was featured on Ja Rule's "Put It on Me" and Missy Elliott's "Hot Boyz," wrote all but one of the tracks on The Girl Next Door, due in April. The track list, however, has not yet been finalized.

Producers on the album include Missy Elliott, Megahertz, Chucky Thompson (Mary J. Blige, Nas), Warren Campbell (Sisqó, Kelly Price), Brian Cox (Alicia Keys), Precision and Walter Milsap.

After Based on a True Story was released in the summer of 2001, Lil' Mo took a job at Baltimore's X105.7 (WXYV-FM) hosting "The Lil' Mo Show" and had a child (see [article id="1443132"]"Lil Mo Ready To Tell Her Story"[/article]). She also contributed to fellow DJ Angie Martinez's latest single, "If I Could Go."
