Linkin Park Announce Dates For Projekt Revolution Tour

Tour with Cypress Hill, Adema, DJ Z-Trip to kick off January 29 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Just one month ago, Linkin Park announced they would take a well-deserved

break after finishing their Countdown to Revolution Tour with (hed) pe, the

X-ecutioners and Apex Theory. That tour is over now, but Linkin Park

decided they're having too much fun to call it quits quite yet. So they

coordinated the Projekt Revolution Tour, which will also feature

Cypress Hill, Adema and DJ Z-Trip (see [article id="1451326"]"Linkin Park's New 'Revolution' Begins In January"[/article]), and on Wednesday (December 12), announced 18 dates of the arena trek.

"What makes this tour great is the collaboration of the heavy guitars and

drums along with the hip-hop," Cypress Hill rapper B-Real said. "Not only

are you getting Linkin Park, a band that does the fusion hip-hop/metal

stuff, you got Cypress Hill that's hip-hop and dabbles with the metal. So we

cover all the bases."

The Projekt Revolution Tour launches January 29 in Colorado Springs,

Colorado, at the World Arena and winds up in San Diego at the Cox Arena on February 24.

Following the tour, the band — recently named Modern Rock Artist of the Year

at the Billboard Music Awards (see [article id="1451323"]"Destiny's Child, R. Kelly Win Big,

Britney Gets Soaked At Billboard Awards"[/article]) — will make good on its threats to

return to the studio.
