Nikka Costa Postpones Tour In Wake Of U.S. Attacks

Outing shelved indefinitely; spokesperson says singer will reschedule.

Deciding that now's not the time to mount a feel-good tour, Nikka Costa postponed a North American trek that was set to kick off Wednesday in Boulder, Colorado, and run through early November.

The Funky White Bitch Tour was shelved indefinitely because of the national crisis in the wake of the terrorist attacks on the United States earlier this month, according to a spokesperson for Costa's management. The spokesperson said Costa would reschedule, but did not know when.

Costa recently shot the video for her second single, "Everybody Got Their Something," in Los Angeles, and recorded a cover of Blondie's "Call Me" for the upcoming "Zoolander" movie soundtrack (see [article id="1448707"]"Nikka Costa Moves From Seduction To Spoof With Second Video"[/article]).
