Snoop Dogg, Tha Liks, Kurupt To Fire Up Tour

Daz Dillinger, Bad Azz, Doggy's Angels also on bill.

Snoop Dogg, Tha Liks and Kurupt will fire up their national tour on July 18 in Portland, Oregon.

Their trek will focus on the West Coast for the remainder of the month before turning east in early August, according to an itinerary from Kurupt’s label, Antra/Artemis Records. Dates run through August 26 in Detroit, though venues have not been announced for most of the stops.

Daz Dillinger, Bad Azz and Doggy’s Angels will also perform on the bill.

Snoop is expected to mix his hits with songs from his most recent album, Tha Last Meal, including “Snoop Dogg (What’s My Name),” “Lay Low” and “Wrong Idea.”
Tha Liks and Kurupt will release their respective albums, X.O. Experience and Space Boogie: Smoke Oddessey, the day before the tour hits the road.

Kurupt’s set will feature accompaniment by his Dogg Pound partner Daz as well as Natina Reed of Blaque, his fiancée. Reed will join him for “It’s Over,” Space Boogie‘s first single. The album features guest appearances from Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, Jon Bon Jovi, Everlast, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, Tha Liks, Daz and NWA’s MC Ren along with production by Fredwreck, Daz Dillinger, Soopafly, DJ Quik, Jon B and Limp’s DJ Lethal.

Kurupt will make his acting debut in the movie tentatively titled “The Plague Season,” which stars Kurt Russell and Ving Rhames. The film is directed by Ron Shelton (“White Men Can’t Jump,” “Eve’s Bayou”).
