Jackson Browne Joining Tom Petty Tour
Singer/songwriter will open dates on second leg of summer outing.
Singer/songwriter Jackson Browne has been tapped to follow Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers into the great wide open on the second leg of their summer tour.
Browne will join the outing as opening act on June 27 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and will play through July 21 in Noblesville, Indiana. The Wallflowers opened the first run of dates through May 21 in Dallas, and Steve Earle and the Dukes are handling the duties until June 2 in Las Vegas.
Petty and the Heartbreakers' set lists, which are posted the following day on TomPetty.com, have varied each night, mixing the rock group's hits with covers such as Howlin' Wolf's "Little Red Rooster."
