No Doubt Get Animated For 'King Of The Hill'

Ska-pop band to play two songs on season finale of animated series.

No Doubt are taking a break from working on their fifth album to perform at the Arlen High School prom.

The ska-pop quartet will play "Bathwater" (from last year's Return of Saturn) and their mid-'90s pop smash "Don't Speak" on the season finale of the animated series "King of the Hill," scheduled for broadcast May 13 on Fox, according to a network spokesperson. In the episode, titled "Kidney Boy and Hamster Girl: A Love Story," Bobby Hill (voiced by Pamela Segall) helps Arlen High win a No Doubt prom concert in a radio-station contest.

In the real world, No Doubt were in Jamaica in early April to record tracks with reggae producers Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare for the follow-up to Return of Saturn (see [article id="1442367"]"No Doubt Head To Jamaica To Stir Up Reggae Sound"[/article]).
