Mudvayne Join Disturbed Tour, Prep DVD Single

Made-up men join second leg of trek, starting March 30; brief headlining tour, enhanced 'Dig' disc follow.

Without so much as a full day's rest after returning from a string of European dates, Mudvayne will affix themselves to the second leg of Disturbed's tour.

The four made-up men will join the two-month outing (see [article id="1441332"]"Disturbed To Spread Sickness On Tour"[/article]) as of March 30 in Lowell, Massachusetts, according to a label spokesperson.

The intense touring schedule doesn't faze Mudvayne, who pride themselves on their live performances. "We've always fallen back on being a live band, and we really take pride in our live show," drummer Spag explained. "Our live show has always been well received."

Mudvayne will serve as Disturbed's openers until April 21, at which time when they'll veer off-course to headline a few dates in the South with Spineshank and Nothingface in tow. A detailed itinerary is still being sorted out, the spokesperson said.

The road-weary warriors will then rejoin Disturbed — as well as the Offspring, 3 Doors Down, and Staind, among others — for a Florida radio festival on April 28, the spokesperson added.

Mudvayne has been on the road nearly every day since their major-label debut, L.D. 50, L.D. 50, was released in August. The LP has sold over 125,000 copies to date, according to SoundScan.

In other news, Mudvayne will release a DVD single for "Dig" on April 10. Along with live and behind-the-scenes footage, a photo gallery and a short video bio, the disc will allow fans to view the "Dig" video from seven different angles.
