Nelly, Ludacris Help Out On New Jagged Edge Album

Jagged Little Thrill due sometime this summer.

Are they perverted like her? Taking a page from the Alanis Morissette handbook, Jagged Edge have titled their just-completed third album Jagged Little Thrill.

Rappers Nelly, Ludacris and Trina make guest appearances on the disc, which will surface sometime this summer, most likely in June.

Jagged Edge recorded the follow-up to 1999's J.E. Heartbreak in their native Atlanta with Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox and Gary "Gizzo" Smith on board as producers.

Songs slated for the album include "Head of Household" and "Where the Party At?" The latter, which features Nelly, is a contender for the first single, member Brian Casey said.

Jagged Edge manager Jeff Sharp said the album marks a "big step in refining their sound and broadening their writing skills," crediting the bigger recording budget they had this time around.

The group plans to launch a tour this summer with Mystikal and another undetermined act, Sharp said.

At last week's Soul Train Music Awards, Jagged Edge picked up trophies for Best R&B/Soul Single, Group, Band or Duo and Best R&B/Soul Album, Group, Band or Duo.
