Steve, Stacey Earle Team Up For Tour

Brother and sister unite for North American dates supporting Transcendental Blues.

Stacey Earle will open shows for brother Steve Earle as he continues touring in support of Transcendental Blues.

The siblings' dates together will begin Thursday (February 1) in Toronto, will hit several cities in North America and continue into March.

Political country-rocker Steve released Transcendental Blues (RealAudio excerpt) last June, a month after sister Stacey issued her latest, the Americana Dancin' With Them That Brung Me.

Steve Earle is also the subject of a television special, "Steve Earle Transcendental Blues," that will air on CMT at 11:30 p.m. ET on Sunday and repeat at 11 p.m. on February 10 and 10:30 p.m. ET on February 26. (Sonicnet.com's parent company, Viacom, also owns CMT.)
