Rock ’n’ roll piano wizards Billy Joel and Elton John have tacked on a string of shows to the latest edition of their Face to Face tour.
The trek, which kicked off January 19 in San Diego, includes new shows in such cities as Denver, New Orleans, Kansas City, New Orleans, Nashville and Syracuse, New York. More dates are expected. Tickets for the new dates go on sale Saturday (February 3).
This year’s Face to Face tour is the fourth for the two music icons. The two toured the U.S. together in 1995 and ’96, then took the outing overseas two years later, swinging through Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
During the last trek, Joel was forced to bow out of a European leg after he developed throat and respiratory problems.
