Usher Keeps Films Coming As He Prepares New Album
In the last few months, Grammy-nominee Usher has seen more soundstages than concert stages, but fans of his music will be pleased to learn that he has a new album on the way.
Usher, who has turned up in "The Faculty" and "She's All That" this year, will return to record racks next month with "Usher Live," a concert album recorded in his hometown of Chattanooga, TN.
[article id="1451506"]"I figured I never came out with anything live,"[/article] Usher told MTV News of the reasons he went live with this album. [article id="1451506"]"I really like the sound of a band, that's one, just for myself, but there were so many people who didn't get a chance to see the concert, so I came out with a live version of most of the songs on my album, and I came out with a home video for all the people who didn't get a chance to see the performance, and a little bio of me as well."
