With a spot on Woodstock '99's emerging artists' stage pumping wind into their sails, the Supersuckers are prepared to take their whiskey-soaked rawk to the masses with a U.S. tour and a new album.

After playing at this year's edition of Woodstock (which is set for Rome, New York on July 23-25), the 'Suckers will launch a tour on August 13 in Seattle and stay on the road through mid-September. The trek will give the band a running start at their appearance at this year's Farm Aid concert September 12 in Washington, D.C.

For the outing, the 'Suckers will share the stage the New Bomb Turks for most dates, and the Hella-Copters for select shows.

The tour will also give fans a taste of "Evil Powers Of Rock 'n' Roll," the new album the 'Suckers plan to deliver in October. The release will come courtesy of the brand spankin' new label Twenty14 and will feature tracks like "Cool Manchu," "I Want the Drugs," "Santa Rita High," "Dead Meat," "Stuff'n'Nonsense," "Dirt Roads, Dead

Ends, and Dust," "Fisticuffs," "Gone Gamblin'," "My Kickass Life," "Goin' Back to Tucson," "I Can't Hold Myself in Line," "Hot Like the Sun," as well as the title track.
