The performances

and press conferences will also give internet users a chance to see whether the band introduces Charlie Quintana as its new drummer or has tapped another replacement for Sterling Campbell, who handled the sticks on Asylum's last album, 1995's "Let Your Dim Light Shine.

Soul Asylum will kick off its tour with a radio-sponsored concert on May 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina and will then will make the rounds at other radio festivals, including stops in Washington, Dallas and Boston.
