March 17 [18:00 EST] -- Social Distortion, Helmet, Descendents, and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones will be among the bands joining the third annual Vans Warped Tour when it takes to the road this summer.

The bands will team up with the Royal Crown Revue, Pennywise, Face To Face, Sick of it All, Millencolin, The Vandals, Lagwagon, Blink-182, Lo Pressure, and The Suicide Machines as well as professional skateboarders and bmx bikers for the series of all day events, which kicks off on July 2 in Phoenix, Arizona.

In addition to two main stages of music and a skating and biking demo area, this year's tour will feature a stage devoted to local bands who will be booked by local promoters. The festival will also feature "The Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation," an information booth devoted to water quality, and a wall-climbing competition.

As in years past, this year's Warped Tour will devote a portion of its proceeds to the Camp Pacific Heartland, a summer camp for

children who have been diagnosed with HIV or AIDS. Pennywise, along with the National Food Bank, will also be doing its part for charity with a food bank table at Warped. Fans who bring a can of food to the table will receive $1 off on Pennywise merchandise, or a Pennywise sticker.

The final tour itinerary is not set yet, and dates are still being added, but here's a list of the shows that are scheduled so far:
