Snoop Slapped With Lawsuit By Ex-Manager

June 3 [10:00 EDT] -- A family feud erupted at Death Row Records on Friday, when Snoop Doggy Dogg was slapped with a lawsuit by his former manager.

Sharitha Knight (who is the estranged wife of imprisoned Death Row CEO Suge Knight in addition to being Snoop's ex-manager) claims that she is owed 20 percent of the estimated $8 million Snoop has earned since August of 1993 when he inked a management contract with Sharitha.Snoop elected not to renew his contract with Sharitha when it expired four months ago, and he told MTV News at the time that he would manage himself with the assistance of agent Bill Wyatt.

In the suit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Sharitha Knight also claims that Snoop is spending his money extravagantly, and has asked that his earnings be put in a court supervised trust fund until the case is settled.

No comment was immediately available from Snoop's attorney.
