Snoop Tells All In Autobiography

Hitting bookstores in December will be an autobiography from Snoop Dogg (penned with the help of veteran pop-music writer Davin Seay) titled "Tha Doggfather: The Times, Trials, And Hardcore Truths Of Snoop Dogg."

"Tha Doggfather" chronicles the rapper's life, from his days as a drug peddler and a member of the Crips street gang to his chart breakthrough. The book also covers his murder trial, his time behind bars, and his life as a husband and father.

Popping up in the book will be such hip-hop heavyweights as Suge Knight (owner of Snoop's original label, Death Row Records), fellow Death Row artist Tupac Shakur, and Master P, head of Snoop's current label home, No Limit Records.

Another character sure to show up in the autobiography is Dr. Dre, who helped launch Snoop's career when he invited him to guest on his first post-NWA album, 1992's "The Chronic." Snoop will be guesting on Dre's follow-up to that album, "Dr. Dre 2001," which is due out on November 2

(see [article id="1428265"]"Dr. Dre Changes Album Title... Again"[/article]).

Dre and Snoop also expect to hit the road together next year, along with Eminem and Xzibit (see [article id="1428266"]"Snoop Dogg Looks Forward To Chronic 2000 Tour With Dre, Eminem, Xzibit"[/article]).
