After a brief break from touring, Kenny Wayne Shepherd is back on the road with a tour that's kicking off at the House Of Blues on February 17.
The blues prodigy is going out in support of his latest, "Live On," which features a host of guest musicians including as guitarist-vocalist Warren Hayes of Gov't Mule, Third Eye Blind bassist Arion Salazar, and Primus' lead man Les Claypool. Also on the disc are bassist Tommy Shannon, drummer Chris Layton, and keyboardist Reese Wynans of Double Trouble, the late Stevie Ray Vaughan's backing band.
Two songs from "Live On," "In 2 Deep" and "Was" are currently on the "R&R" Rock Top 50 lists, with another track, "Last Goodbye," on the "R&R" Adult Alternative National Airplay list.
