Twisted Sister Guitarist Re-Teams With Sevendust, Ponders Reunion Tour

Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay French is a busy man of late, which is good news for Sevendust fans.

French told MTV News this week that he will once again be helping out Sevendust when the gnashing rock outfit begins work on its sophomore album this spring. French, who also co-produced the band's self-titled debut, said that the band is currently in pre-production, and plans to begin recording the album in mid-March. French also said that the album is expected to be wrapped up by summer.

In addition to his production work, French also added that he and the four other members of Twisted Sister who rose to fame in the mid-80s (Dee Snider, Mark Mendoza, A.J. Pero, and Eddie Ojeda) are currently entertaining an offer for a reunion tour. French noted that such a tour is still a long shot and the conditions would have to be "absolutely right," but added that for the first time in several years, "We're not saying no.

The group reformed last year to record their first

new song together in 12 years, "Heroes Are Hard To Find," for the soundtrack to the Snider-penned film, "Strangeland.
