The much anticipated "Okayplayer" outing has updated its tour itinerary and will now kick off Wednesday night at The Avalon in Boston.

The confirmed lineup for the road trip includes the Roots, Jazzyfatnastees, Dead Prez, Flo Brown, Talib Kweli, Hi-Tek, Jaguar, Bahamadia, Dice Raw, and Slum Village, among other special guests. The outing will feature a rotating lineup, as not all artists will be on all dates.

When the outing was lined up in late August, Mos Def and Rah Digga were among the artists expected to meet up with the tour (see [article id="1427931"]"The Roots, Dead Prez Line Up 'Okayplayer' Dates"[/article]).

In related news, fans can expect to hear some songs that will be included on the next Jazzyfatnastees album, which the group hopes to have out by next June. According to a post on the Okayplayer message board from the Jazzys' Mercedes, the new effort will be called "The Tortoise And The Hair," although that information could

not be confirmed by a band spokesperson. A single is expected out in March or April.
