Prince has postponed the rest of his national tour with Chaka Khan after spraining his ankle on a slippery stage floor on Saturday at the Marina Theater in Atlantic City.
Due to an overly humid fog machine, the floor was covered in condensation, causing both the artist and Chaka Khan to slip and fall during their respective sets. Though Chaka Khan didn't suffer injuries, Prince has been forced to reschedule the rest of their tour as per doctor's orders.
The two were scheduled to perform in Cleveland on Tuesday at CSU University, the same day that Chaka Khan's album "Come 2 My House" was released on the artist's NPG record label. The rest of the postponed dates include shows in Detroit, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. No word yet as to when these shows will be rescheduled.
Here are the dates affected by the announcement:
- 9/29 Cleveland, OH @ CSU University
- 9/30 Detroit, MI @ Joe Louis Arena
- 10/04 San Francisco, CA @ Concord Pavilion
Los Angeles, CA @ Forum
