Iggy Pop's Off R.O.A.R. Tour

July 7 [18:00 EDT] -- Iggy Pop has given his last R.O.A.R. on the tour that he had been headlining until this past weekend.

Pop had been performing with an injured shoulder for the past several weeks after stage diving into one of the many gaps in the thin audience at the R.O.A.R. show at the Polaris Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio (see [article id="1433244"]"Iggy Pop Stage Dives Into Emergency Room"[/article]).

He's been bravely soldiering on, but his manager said he met with Pop over the weekend and they decided he would not be able to continue. His last appearance was July 5 in Jackson, Missouri.

He didn't appear in Oklahoma July 6 and will not perform at any of the remaining dates.

The R.O.A.R. tour, which began May 24, is scheduled to continue until July 19. Sponge, The Nixons, Reverend Horton Heat and the Bloodhound Gang are expected to continue without him as Pop heads for a month or more of physical therapy.
