Tom Petty To End Fillmore Run With Cybercast

Feb. 5 [12:00 EST] -- Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers wind up an unprecedented string of 20 shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco this Friday, and will mark the end of their run with a live radio and Internet broadcast of Thursday and Friday's concerts.

The broadcasts, slated for February 6 and 7, will be broadcast live on the Westwood One Radio Network at Midnight Eastern, 9 p.m. Pacific time. Listeners should check local listings for a station near you. The concerts will also be carried live through Warner Bros. Records or Apple Computer's Webcast page.

Opening Thursday and Friday's shows for Petty, but not part of the live broadcast, will be the Presidents of the United States of America, who will launch a tour of their own in Austin, Texas. Not too surprisingly, the tour will kick off on Presidents' Day, February 22.
