New York's Toilet Boys Land Record Deal, Orgy Dates

Notorious New York gutter glam rockers the Toilet Boys may soon be going nationwide as the group has landed a record deal, a string of dates with Orgy, and an appearance at Woodstock '99.

The band recently inked a deal with Roadrunner Records and plans to launch its debut for the label in early 2000. Before that, the Boys will play a handful of Northeast dates with Orgy beginning in Philadelphia on July 8. The band's previous opening experience includes shows with Blondie, the Donnas, Joan Jett, Motorhead, and the Lunachicks.

The Boys also claim that they will be playing this summer's Woodstock '99, but no official announcement has come from the Woodstock camp yet.
