Q-Tip, Sticky Fingers To Wear "Love Goggles"

Rappers Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest and Sticky Fingas of Onyx have joined the cast of a new independent film, "Love Goggles," which began shooting earlier this month on location in New York.

The movie, described as an "urban love story," is being directed by Anthony Travis, who won a Cable Ace Award last year for his work filming the live antics of Emeril Lagasse -- the world-renowned chef and Food Network personality famous for "bamming!" his dishes with seasoning, as well as "kicking it up a notch.

For "Love Goggles," Q-Tip will portray the role of Complex, the host of the Nahnahs club, one of the film's principle locations, while Sticky Fingas will play Jason, a friend of one of the central characters. Steven Peacock Jacoby, Trevor David and Ruby Campbell star in the picture.

Love Goggles" is scheduled for release by the end of the year, and there's no word yet on whether Onyx or A Tribe Called Quest would contribute material for the film's soundtrack.
