R&B sensation Monica is sitting pretty in the charts this week, as her new single, "The First Night" is the highest single to debut this week, and joins her duet with Brandy on "The Boy Is Mine" in the Top 10.

Monica's new record is also holding strong in the upper echelon of the album charts, and she has just released a new video for "The First Night," which the singer worked on with yet another hip-hop artist dominating the charts.

'The First Night' is not an experience of mine," Monica said, "but it's a record that Jermaine Dupri produced, and of whom I've known a long time. And I think he has definitely made his mark in the industry and I hope that this record will be another stepping stone for the both of us. 'The First Night' is basically about a guy making an approach towards a woman on the first date.
