'NSYNC, Monica Tapped For HIV Prevention Campaign

'NSYNC and Monica are participating in a new youth HIV prevention campaign being launched by LIFEbeat, and both have taped public service announcements that will start airing this week.

LIFEbeat will premiere 'NSYNC's spot today on its Web site (www.lifebeat.org), which will include live footage of the platinum-selling boy band taken from the "Music With A Message" World AIDS Day concert held in New York City on December 1, 1999.

Monica, Destiny's Child, Wyclef Jean, and Joey McIntyre also participated in that LIFEbeat-sponsored show, which raised over $250,000 for the group's AIDS/HIV prevention and awareness programs.

In addition to the latest round of TV spots, LIFEbeat also plans to offer a series of radio PSAs this summer, with Britney Spears, Busta Rhymes, and Third Eye Blind among the artists set to record the audio spots.

LIFEbeat, the music industry's not-for-profit AIDS

service organization, plans to make all of the new radio and TV spots in the youth-targeted campaign available online.
