The Offspring, Sugar Ray, Mighty Mighty Bosstones To March Through Georgia For RockFest

Hard Rock Productions, the people behind the Hard Rock Cafes across the world, have announced plans to stage its second annual RockFest concert in Atlanta on June 5, with a bill that will feature the Offspring, Third Eye Blind, Sugar Ray, Everlast and Collective Soul.

Others who have signed on to perform at the all-day event being staged at the Atlanta Motor Speedway include Silverchair, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Live, Eve 6, Better Than Ezra, New Radicals and Marvelous 3.

And even though the 1999 Hard Rock RockFest is more than two months away, the concert's organizers are already thinking long term -- and are planning to reprise the all-day show in 2000 and 2001, although it was not yet known if the event would be held in Atlanta the next two years.

Aside from the music, the 1999 RockFest will also include a staging area for an "entertainment zone" where audience-goers can catch extreme sports demonstrations, hang out at a special on-site Hard Rock Cafe, or peruse the

rock-minded wares of various midway vendors.
