Megadeth Headed To WCW "Nitro"

After roping in Master P to appeal to hip-hop fans, World Championship Wrestling will be getting some help from Megadeth next week.

The band will turn up on the pro wrestling outfit's "WCW Monday Nitro" broadcast on July 5 to perform "Crush 'Em," the song the band kicks in for the soundtrack of the upcoming action flick "Universal Soldier: The Return." The film co-stars Jean Claude Van Damme and WCW wrestler Bill Goldberg, both of whom recently teamed up with the band to shoot the video for the track, presumably paving the way for Megadeth to head to Goldberg's "Nitro" turf (see [article id="1432013"]"Megadeth Teaming With Van Damme, Goldberg For 'Universal Soldier' Video"[/article]).

The "Universal Soldier: The Return" soundtrack also features tracks from Anthrax, Ministry, Fear Factory, Static-X, Gwar, D Generation, and The Flys, who will be covering Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train.

As we first reported earlier this month, WCW inked a deal with Master P that

will see the rap impresario make appearances at numerous WCW events over the next year (see [article id="1431926"]"Master P To Turn Up In WCW Ring"[/article]).
