Master P's dreams of NBA stardom came one tiny step closer to reality on Thursday when the rapper/CEO began a two-week training camp with the Charlotte Hornets.
P, known to some as Percy Miller, arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday to begin the two-week trial period, which in no way guarantees him a place on the team. P will, however, get to strut his stuff for the Hornets, most likely while playing point guard.
Earlier this week, Master P's brother Silkk The Shocker told MTV News that he felt that P had what it takes to join the Dallas Mavericks, but the Mavs said that P had only been shooting hoops at their practice facility an would not be trying out for the team.
It's worth noting that during his recent stint with the CBA's Fort Wayne Fury, P averaged 1.9 points in eight games with the team.
